EAST (Gastronomic Thai Restaurant)
It’s the best kind of comfort food. Head to East, our gastronomic Thai restaurant, led by the master hands of the chef Suksan Supprasert. The catch? This restaurant is menu-less. Instead, chat with the waiter about your likes and dislikes when it comes to food, and the kitchen team will prepare a vibrant dish.
As for the restaurant setting, well, it’s steps from the beach (the view of the moonlit lagoon is “wow”), with sleek dark interiors–perfect for Date Night.

Note: East is not included in any meal plans. However, if you are on a Half Board, Full Board or All Inclusive, you get a credit of around MUR 800 to spend on food.

VIK’S (Fisherman’s Shack)
As you walk barefoot down the beach, keep your eyes open for a tiny but chic fisherman’s shack. There, you’ll bump into Vik–a friendly face of LUX* Le Morne. One of those people you meet and feel like you’ve known forever. Vik loves the sea more than anything. And he knows it better than anyone. Curious about tasting sea urchin? Vik is your guy. Stop by his place for a taste of rum arrangé, local rum that is left to macerate for months with spices or tropical fruit. Taste freshly-caught sea urchin with a squeeze of lemon, and why not a glass of bubbly. After all, you’re on holiday, and in the tropics no less!

MAISON LUX* (Café & Bar)
The chicest café in town draws its soul from the typical Milanese cafés that line the cobbled streets of the Italian city. It’s a place where one finds respite, inspiration, and fuel in the form of a perfect shot of espresso. Or two. It is where you can guzzle down a Macchiato or linger at a table and sip Aperol Spritz. Aperitivo, they say. Although coffee is served from dawn to dusk, Maison LUX* is attuned to the hour of the day: Morning coffee and pastries. Afternoon tea and gelato. Come nightfall, the barista is replaced with the bartender. Drinks are poured, canapés, served. Negronis, Martinis, and Prosecco are flowing. After dinner, linger a little longer with a glass of absinthe or a digestif, and why not one of those delicate and dainty pastries in their jewel-like box? Here’s to ending the day on a sweet note!

THE BAR (Bar)
Past the lobby and Maison LUX* is a gorgeous space that opens onto the pool and Le Morne lagoon. That’s The Bar. The mustard couches, the neutral beiges and tropical green plants all exude that feel-good holiday feel. Sipping a cocktail is that much more enjoyable when you’re facing a shimmering lagoon. And even more so when you know the herbs and ingredients came right from the resort’s herb garden. The Bar is where you can sit, catch up, relax, and just appreciate the wonders of a holiday.

KAWAII (Japanese Omakase Restaurant)
Two Japanese words define this restaurant: Kawaii and Omakase. The first denotes a Japanese artistic and cultural style that emphasises the quality of cuteness, of being lovable. The restaurant is named Kawaii because it’s an eight-seat sushi bar; it’s small size making it an exclusive luxury experience. Omakase, which translates to “I’ll leave it up to you,’ is a tradition of Japanese dining in which the chef creates a uniquely personal, guided tasting menu. At an omakase restaurant, the Chef steps beyond their traditional role as the cook. Suddenly they’re also the host, the waiter, the storyteller, the guide.

ICI (Ice Cream Parlor)
If you’ve stayed with us before, there’s a very good chance you’ve tasted our ICI ice cream–our very own in-house ice cream brand. It’s homemade using the simplest, freshest ingredients. It’s loved by everyone, especially our Little Travellers. It’s refreshing on a hot summer’s day. It tastes best eaten by the swimming pool or under a coconut tree. Flavours range from classic to creative. And yes, we serve dairy-free and sorbets too.

PLAY, OUR MINDFUL KIDS CLUB
We re imagined the kids club experience. Ours is as modern as it is mindful. It’s a space where little travellers can learn new things, meet new friends and gain a little independence. We welcome kids ages 3 to 11. Our qualified team will supervise the younger ones as they discover the joys of island living, partake in age-appropriate activities, gardening, walks in nature, sandcastle building on the beach, shell painting and treasure hunts.
ALL THE AMENITIES
Vacationing with children can seem daunting for even the most seasoned of travelers. Don’t you just dread the packing? As if lugging suitcases around wasn’t enough, you also have to think of bottles, sterilizers, strollers etc. Let us handle it. We have all the baby amenities you need–just ask. Our chefs will happily prepare healthy, organic meals for your little ones. Some of our sea-facing Junior Suites can be interconnected, making it a great choice for a tribe of travellers.

LUX* Me Spa welcomes our younger guests too. We have a menu dedicated entirely to kids and teens. Our spa products look like desserts. There are manis and pedis, and we’ll even share skincare tips with the teens. Note that parents must accompany them.
