ACCESSIBLE ROOMS
LUX* Belle Mare is a disabled friendly hotel offering excellent facilities through luxurious rooms that are especially equipped for the comfort of wheelchair users and our less mobile guests. Our rooms are located near the main reception area and are wheel-chair accessible, including a grip rail in the en-suite and hand rail in the shower area to make your stay more comfortable. All public areas are easily accessible enabling our guests to
enjoy all that is on offer within the hotel.
Located on the ground, first, and second floors, our beach hut-style Junior Suites are suffused with shades of white sand with coral and citrus color accents: bleached ash wood panels, woven rope seating, and tables cast in reclaimed local sand. The Cabana terrace area has a den day bed for lazy naps. The bedroom is a white-washed cocoon, while the Pantry is our take on the traditional mini bar. The all-white bathroom is beachy and tropical.

There’s Amari by Vineet, our contemporary indian gem, where the pinkish, earthy interiors evoke India’s fantastical colour palette. Duck Laundry, the moody Chinese gastronomic restaurant, is where you go for comforting family-style dishes and chef-driven tasting menus. In the lobby is Maison LUX*, the perfect setting for a macchiato and a pastry. The coral-pink Aperitivo Bar serves up healthy elixirs but also a Spritz. The Mixologist, located poolside, serves the perfect afternoon pick-me-up. MONDO, open from day to night has something for everyone. Royce Street, our gourmet street food Rolls Royce, embraces Southeast Asian cuisine.
With views of both the lagoon and the pool, The Mixologist is the dream holiday bar. No trip to Mauritius is complete without sipping cocktails (or delicious mocktails) there. Located right next to the main pool, at the entrance of MONDO, our creative Aperitivo Bar serves healthy elixirs to the early risers before shifting its ambience to a vibrant upscale bar serving spritzes. Equal parts beach club and restaurant, Beach Rouge evolves and metamorphoses throughout the day. Lunches are long and lazy with gorgeous views of the sea. When the sun dips below the horizon, the entire Beach Rouge is lit up in an electrifying red tint, to which it owes its name. For a moment, you’ll feel transported to the bohemian-chic Ibiza or the crystalline coastline of a Greek island.
AMARI BY VINEET (Contemporary Indian Restaurant)Our signature restaurant, ‘Amari by Vineet’, is a contemporary Indian gem, where the pinkish, earthy interiors evoke India’s fantastical colour palette. Cool and contemporary murals, ornaments and clay lamps are a feast for the senses. The heady cuisine, a modern interpretation of India’s rich heritage is signed Vineet Bhatia, the nation’s first Michelin-starred chef. DUCK LAUNDRY (Gastronomic Chinese Restaurant)Duck Laundry is our much-loved Chinese restaurant. The moody Chinese gastronomic restaurant is where you go for comforting family-style dishes and chef-driven tasting menus. Duck, one of the main features, is served in true Peking duck style. The menu incorporates some of the most-loved Sichuanese, Shanghainese and Cantonese dishes. A wide selection of artisanal dim sum are prepared onsite daily. Hand-picked teas, craft cocktails and spirits and wines, and a curated playlist all add to the electric atmosphere.
The chicest café in town draws its soul from the typical Milanese cafés that line the cobbled streets of the Italian capital. It’s a place where one finds respite, inspiration, and fuel in the form of a perfect shot of espresso. Although coffee is served from dawn to dusk, Maison LUX* is attuned to the hour of the day. Come nightfall, the barista is replaced with the bartender. The drinks trolley lures those seeking an afterdinner digestif. Located in the lobby, it’s the perfect place to unwind after a long flight, refuel before heading out to explore for the day, and grab a last LUX* coffee to go before you leave.
Adjacent to the pool, at the heart of the resort, MONDO serves the best of many worlds. Our chefs cook up all sorts of fabulous dishes from around the globe: French, Indian, Mauritius, Italian, and Asian cuisines. The dining style is interactive with chefs at live cooking stations and the variety is dizzying. There’s even a pizza counter and a buffet designed specially for our Little Travellers. Take your plate to a table al fresco on the terrace poolside or inside, at the heart of the action. MONDO, open from morning till late has something for everyone.
Innovation meets craftsmanship at our ICI ice cream bar, where we bring the behind-the-scenes of ice cream making to the front.
