Interaction with Caracal

These cats with pointy black ears come from Central Africa. In Mauritius since 2015, the three female caracals are well known as being cuddle lovers. They weight between 10kg and 20kg and have a very elegant cat walk. The most noticeable feature on a Caracal is its ear tufts or tassels; these have many functions but the most important being they are used to make hearing more accurate. The Caracal is also known as the Desert Lynx.

The interactions with Caracal start as from 10 years and must be accompanied by an adult.
Minimum height: 1m 20cm
To note that only 15 minutes interval is required when doing the Interaction activity followed by Walk with Lions, Big Cats Interaction and/or Drive Thru.

Proof of age is required on the day of your activity.

Note: This activity is not available on Sundays
