WHY CHOOSE A GUIDED TOUR OF LA VALLÉE DE FERNEY

Our guides will be relating their bountiful knowledge and anecdotes on the fauna and flora of the valley. Here are three of the tips they would like to share with you:

Keep your eyes open to what may come your way on your trek: don’t be surprised if you come across a deer, a boar, bats or rare endemic birds on your path!

The most beautiful encounters don’t always happen by chance. Look out for when the clock strikes noon and meet us at the Wildlife Sanctuary: you might come across the Mauritian kestrel bird out for a feed.

Don’t forget to be comfortably and appropriately dressed and equipped while exploring nature: a cap or a hat, mosquito repellent, water, sneakers/sport shoes and a helmet if need be – are some of the must-haves while out there.
